As a hair salon, we usually focus our energy on hair. However, makeup is such a huge part of our industry for brides, special events, and photo shoots. Let it be known that we DO offer makeup services at INTRICID (appointment only)!

A makeup look that we LOVE and has been ever so popular since the 1950s is the Cat Eye. This “winged eyeliner” look is essential for a modern approach to makeup. It’s great to explore vintage looks for makeup inspiration. Vintage styles will always be recycled. Luckily, we live in an innovative timeframe and have the ability to take vintage styles and add creative/unique twists to them.

Vintage styles generally paired the Cat Eye with red lips, whereas, modern day styles pair all sorts of lip shades. This gives the vintage inspired look a creative uniqueness.
