Only certified stylists have access to American Wave products, soft tools, and techniques. While at EXPO in NY last month, stylist Charlie Anne, was a part of some of the first certified for this revolutionary waving system.
American Wave uses ionic technology without dryness, damage, off-putting smells, or styling restrictions. The point of difference is the ammonia and thio free waving solution. Being positively charged, the solution attracts to the negatively charged hair shaft and leaving the hair damage free. Traditional perms are negatively charged which repels the thio ingredient. Because of this, thio-based perms aggressively open the hair shaft resulting in damage of the hair cuticle.

The Beach Wave: Marry straight and wavy textures and create the sexy, tousled beach waves that are the zeitgeist of fashion, trend, and style. Using American Wave and a vertical drag wrap soft tool technique, this service is great for trend-conscious clients.
The Style Support Technique: Add volume and texture to hair that lacks life and vitality by creating a resilient consistent wave that is perfect style support for blow-dries and hot-tools. Using a classic soft tool wrapping technique in alliance with American Wave, this is brilliant for clients with very straight hair.
The Expanded Waves & Curls Technique: Maximize volume and texture and movement to create buoyant, resilient and dynamic wave and curl patterns that are fabulous and full. This is great for clients who want texture expansion.
